Mission Statement
At Being With A Camera Darlene Bellis, Sibylle Meder and Elaine Ocasio create film and media productions in a new way.
Bringing our combined 90 years of film and tv production experience together with our commitment to consciousness and the practices we trained in, we nurture a different culture in front of and behind the camera.
All three of us are Big Leap Coaches certified by the Hendricks Institute. Elaine is a Licensed Spiritual Practitioner and Darlene is on the faculty of Foundation for Conscious Living.
We are driven by a deep curiosity about the inner workings of human experience — the invisible forces that shape how we move, connect, create, and evolve. Our creative work often orbits the intersection of consciousness, embodiment, and transformation.
Success, to us, looks like resonance. If the audience watching our films not only understands something new but feels something different in their own bodies — a sense of expanded possibility, a curiosity about their own aliveness — then, we’ve done our job.
Portraying how people inspire others in creating their lives as a celebration of deep connection and caring, that soothes some of our most pressing uncertainties and provides insight and spark for moving forward, is the through-line of our work.
We are creating films and media projects that embody new stories of how humans can relate to each other and create a world in which we truly want to live.
